A small development group was looking to introduce a new restaurant to the historic Pioneer Square Neighborhood
•
The mezzanine was rebuilt to bring it over the kitchen to create an upper mezzanine seating area that was more visually connected to the primary dining/drinking space. This also provided a cover for the kitchen allowing us to create a showpiece of this space. Because the size of mezzanines is limited by code, we tackled an interesting challenge by pulling the mezzanine forward, and creating more floor area in the mezzanine than allowed by code. We used this space to create a high ceiling with a custom light cove in the Gold room in the back.
