The clients started the process with another firm and contractor. The previous design did not comply with the necessary code and had serious design flaws beyond this.
We redesigned the project by:

The house had to be stripped to the stud. New decks were designed. We designed an extension to the kitchen and living room. Added strong vertical connections between the loft office and the main floor in the living room. Redesigned the stairs both for code compliance and to create a strong aesthetic connection between all of the levels.
